 DO NOT MISS: high line: walk on old train tracks: 14 street and 23 street , 11 avenue. If you want to eat : lower than 14 street next to entrance to high line: eat at Standart Grill: if you like a new York scene, really loud and happening but good food. Standart hotel is NEW.

BLT Market : dans l’hotel ritz : 59 and 6th ave. Maitre d’ is Belgian  jean Jacques> the food is excellent.

Less  Expensive but a lot more basic.
A drink at pierre loti: irving place, next to Gramercy place close to 14 street: the street is  pretty, gramercy square is adorable.

Gotham bar and grill still good after 25 years> 12 E 12 street
FISHTAIL east side 62ne street around the corner of Lexington; I like the oyster bar at FIRSHTAIL.

11 madison: www.elevenmadisonpark.com: great food experience. Expensive.

Maialino: in Gramercy hotel ( I love that HOTEL BUT RESTAURANT IS DISAPOINTING)

Ludlow between Houston and Rivington: Lower east side neighborhood, very young-lots of bars and restaurants), also has some good shops and Katz’s Deli!

Nolita: This is another trendy, neighborhood bordered by Houston Street (North), the Bowery (East), Broome Street (South),
and Lafayette (West). It’s great to walk around and there are a lot of good restaurants as well.
